Data controller

This candidate portal is operated by the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, University of Novi Sad, for the admissions process of the ADA master programme. Questions about how your data is handled should be sent to Student Services (see the footer of this page).

What we collect and why

We collect only the information you provide as part of your application, together with records of the processing itself:

  • Account data — e-mail address, first and last name, used to identify you and to send workflow messages about your application.
  • Application data — personal information, previous education, English-proficiency basis, entrance-examination choices, inactive periods and uploaded evidence documents (identity, diploma, transcripts, certificates).
  • Processing records — verification decisions, staff notes, audit events and notification logs that let Student Services run and reconstruct the admissions workflow.

Data is processed for the performance of the admission procedure (a task carried out in the public interest of the University) and to comply with legal obligations on enrolment records.

Retention

Applications and their supporting documents are kept for the duration of the admission cycle plus the statutory retention period required for enrolment and higher-education records. At the end of the retention period the records are deleted or anonymised. Draft applications that are never submitted are deleted when the round that they belong to is closed and archived.

Who can see your data

Access is limited to staff of the Faculty's Student Services who process your application, and to the Head of Student Services for oversight. Every access to your uploaded documents and every change to your application is recorded in an append-only audit log. Your documents are stored privately and are never published or linked publicly.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may object to processing where it is based on legitimate interest. Contact Student Services to exercise these rights; requests are answered within the period prescribed by law. During the open correction window you can also correct most data yourself after signing in.

Cookies and security

This portal uses only strictly necessary session cookies to keep you signed in. Communications are encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and candidate files are served through authenticated, audited downloads only.
